I am a Roman Catholic Priest of the Diocese of Jefferson City. I am currently assigned as Parochial Vicar at Immaculate Conception Church in Jefferson City, Mo. I also am responsible for hispanic ministry at St. Peter’s Church, also in Jefferson City, Mo.

In 2018 I earned an S.T.L. in Fundamental Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University. In 2014 I also earned my S.T.B from the same university while completing seminary formation at the Pontifical North American College. I was ordained to the priesthood at St. Joseph Cathedral in Jefferson City, Mo. on June 27, 2015.

Prior to my theological studies, I completed my B.A. in Philosophy at Conception Seminary College. I started my undergraduate studies in journalism and religious studies at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. I was born in St. Louis and raised there as well as New Jersey.

Before I entered the seminary I worked as a journalist for different organizations and outlets. In the past this site was used as a “portfolio” where I linked to my published work so that you, my family and friends could find the articles which were being published all over the world. Now I use this to share updates on my experiences, thoughts and homilies.

  1. There used to be a decent trattoria on the Via della Pilotta near the fountain–good calzone. Not that you have much time to eat while studying at the Greg. 🙂 God bless! My prayers daily for you.

  2. Geoffrey,
I’ve enjoyed reading through your blog very much. The insiders view to recent history at the Vatican is most fascinating. I am thrilled to see that I am not in the vast minority that many would insinuate by keeping the faith – all of it, regardless of rationalism and current pop psychology. Thank you for the insights, and feel free to write me direct if you have comments or criticism on my blog. My email is at the end of every post.

  5. Thanks for the follow Geoffrey! I will keep you and your priestly formation in my prayers. Are you currently studying at the PNAC in Rome? I wonder if you know a dear friend of mine who is also studying there? His name is Jack Schrader. Either way, I am pleased to have been connected with you.
    Peace,
    Jessica
